Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are upgrade components that can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets to give a bonus. They usually have a higher cost and require that the item be at an appropriate level.
Items with very high requirements typically don't see much value in being upgraded. This is especially the case for items like the eth Titans, which don't have much variation.
Glyphs

After reaching level 50 in Diablo 4, the action-RPG from Blizzard is able to take a step away from its streamlined campaign into the final game. This is the time when things begin to change, as players are forced into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and brand new grinds to ensure their character's build is as strong as possible.
Glyphs play an important role in this progression. Glyphs' stats attributes and effect radius on the Paragon Board are boosted by increasing their upgrade level. There are many ways to obtain these upgrades The most popular is by raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs lets you add symbols to your text. You can select them from the menu to the left of the screen. It initially displays glyphs in the font in which your cursor is, but you can view a different font or type style, and you can limit the glyphs available to a specific subset by selecting an option from the options below Entire Font (for instance, Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). When you hover your mouse over the glyph, you will view its CID/GID as well as Unicode value in a tool tip.
Once you've inserted some glyphs after which the Glyphs panel will keep track of the last 35 distinct ones you've used and will make them available under Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you must expand the panel to view all 35). You can also clear this list by right-clicking or Control-clicking on a one of the glyphs in the list, and selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also allows you to create a custom set of glyphs, which can be useful if you frequently need to type certain text types. This will help you avoid needing to manually insert each glyph every time you need it.
A custom glyph may have a maximum of 30 glyphs. This includes both the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must include uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_), and other glyphs. The suffix can include ligatures, or contextual alternates. These are special versions which combine two or more letters into one glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the principal mechanic that gives extra bonuses to items, like more stats. They come in different types: reroll levels up, recycle and reroll. Each upgrade type comes with a unique set of extra bonuses on the item.
Reroll tokens are used to alter an item's base stats and upgrade number. They can also be used to reroll substats of rings. This is useful when an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is less than what the player would like or if its current substats aren't ideal.
Rerolling an item is costing 1 token and will reset the upgrades, but will keep the rarity, set and level intact. As an item is leveled up, its tier rises. The main stat of the item is boosted by 3 points for each level. Any additional stat that is randomly added will be boosted along with it. The tier of an item increases by 1 each time you level an item to its highest possible level.
The Blueprint Desk is a tool that lets players purchase new Appliances, Ingredients and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints are available at the beginning of each Preparation Phase. They appear as envelopes that can be opened by pressing Grab. upgrade item has its own icon, and each category of upgradeable item displays each with a distinct icon:
Choosing a franchise card from the Blueprint Desk will allow you to purchase certain appliances or ingredients needed for certain recipes. Some Appliances and Inputs are staples, meaning that they will not be available in the Shop or on rerolls while others have a greater chance of being available when an appropriate franchise card is chosen at the Blueprint Desk. This is known as the Staple Pool, and the items contained in it will remain in that pool for the duration of the run. The same goes for non-staple equipment. transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.
Recycled Items
The magic happens when you use the third "R," recycling. You can benefit the environment by recycling a product made from recycled material. This is because the majority of items that are recycled are returned to their manufacturer who originally made the item to be remanufactured into a new product. This is referred to as "closing of the loop of recycling."
If someone places something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorted. Then, it is offered to manufacturers who will then re-make the item. Remade products include:
This reduces the need to harvest, grow or extract raw materials to make something other than. This helps reduce the harm done to nature; fewer trees are chopped down, rivers are diverted, and wild animals are forced to move. This also reduces the amount of pollution caused by the dumping of raw materials into our soil, water and the air.
In addition, purchasing recycled products help keep local jobs and businesses alive, especially those who specialize in the production of goods made using recycled materials. Demand for recycled products encourages businesses to participate in this eco-friendly initiative.
A final reason to purchase recycled products is that it takes less energy to make new items from recycled material than it does to make them out of raw materials. This is due to the manufacturing process of creating a brand new aluminum can requires 95 percent more energy than production of the same aluminum can from recycled material. This is why every bit is important.
Leveling
Most units can level up which grants them additional XP every time they attack or are attacked. This XP can be used to boost their primary stats, or unlock other upgrades on the unit's development tree. Weapons are an excellent example, as they can be upgraded and increase their damage and range.
Most leveling systems require a certain amount of levels to be reached but this may differ from game to game. Leveling is done by spending either materials or coins. Most systems use both to boost the level of an item, but some only make use of one or the other.
In many games, leveling can be problematic because it makes certain units too powerful and other units aren't able to compete. It is better to limit the amount of leveling a player can do, requiring them to make a choice about what they want to upgrade and why.
